- Inter-Company Reconciliation: Ensure inter-branch accounts reconcile monthly with a zero net balance.
- Auditor Query Resolution: Identify and address errors, root causes, and responsible persons for seamless query resolution.
- Fund Management: Monitor and allocate funds across branches based on needs, optimizing cash flow and utilization.
- Bank Reconciliation: Daily review and monitoring of bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with financial records.
- Preparation of SOPs: Develop and standardize process documents for MIS to align practices across branches.
- Annual Accounts Finalization: Consolidate and finalize accounts for Pan-India operations, ensuring timely statutory audits.
- Statutory Compliance: Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring timely payments and filings (e.g., GST, TDS).
- Ledger Scrutiny: Regular review and rectification of balance sheet and P&L ledgers to maintain accuracy.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) Review: Evaluate receivables/payables bi-weekly to ensure collections flow and resolve disputes.
- On-Account Clearing: Follow up with branches to reconcile on-account payments/receipts and adjustments.
- IT Coordination: Collaborate with IT to resolve logistics-related system issues efficiently.
- Payables/Receivables Management: Address issues in billing, payables, or receivables, liaising with internal/external parties when necessary.
- GST and TDS Management: Stay updated on amendments, coordinate with consultants, and ensure compliance (e.g., GSTR 3B, GSTR 1, GSTR 2B reconciliations).
- Profitability Analysis: Regularly review job/customer profitability, address loss-making jobs, and ensure timely operational/financial job closures.
- MIS Reporting: Provide accurate and timely management reports to support decision-making.
Inter-Company Reconciliation
- Monthly reconciliation of inter-branch accounts at the intra-company level with zero discrepancies.
Auditor Query Resolution
- Timely resolution of internal audit queries, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Fund Management
- Efficient allocation of funds across branches, optimizing the use of resources, and maintaining cash flow.
Bank Reconciliation
- Ensure daily reconciliation reports align with books and address unreconciled items promptly.
Process Standardization (SOPs)
- Develop and enforce SOPs for financial processes, ensuring uniformity across branches.
Annual Accounts Finalization
- Timely preparation of consolidated financial statements and successful statutory audit completion.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure all statutory payments and filings (GST, TDS, etc.) are made accurately and within deadlines.
Ledger Scrutiny
- Proactively identify and rectify erroneous ledger entries, maintaining a clean balance sheet and P&L.
Receivables Management
- Regularly review AR and resolve disputes to ensure steady cash inflow.
On-Account Payment Reconciliation
- Minimize outstanding on-account payments/receipts by working with branch teams.
IT Collaboration for Logistics Issues
- Effectively liaise with IT teams to resolve logistics software/system issues impacting financial workflows.
Billing and Payables Oversight
- Address disputes in billing/payables, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation.
Taxation Compliance
- Ensure GST and TDS compliance by reviewing returns and implementing necessary changes due to amendments.
Profitability Tracking
- Analyze and lock job/customer profitability, highlighting unbilled revenue and underperforming areas.
MIS Reporting
- Deliver various financial and operational reports to management on demand.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in GST, TDS, and financial reporting standards.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to scrutinize ledgers, assess profitability, and identify errors.
- Process Orientation: Strong in creating SOPs and ensuring their implementation across branches.
- Communication: Liaise effectively with auditors, branch heads, and cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring compliance, accuracy in reconciliations, and financial reports.
