Role Summary
Job Title: SENIOR NETWORKING ENGINEER
CCNP CERTIFICATION IS MUST
Job role: Switches maintenance & network issues.
CLIENT LOCATION: MINISTRY OF DEFENCE.
Work location: Hyderabad.
Work time: full time.
Work duration: 02 years.
Pay Scale: 6 lac to 10 lac p.a. (based on job skills & performance).
Duties
and Responsibilities
• Candidate shall generate and provide the
hardware layout and mapping within the network, with proper identification of the hardware using OEM NMS and/or other.
• Candidate shall raise the case and liaison
with the OEM for any repair of hardware and software.
• Regular backups of configuration to be taken
for all network elements.
• The services shall cover both Preventive as
well as corrective maintenance of all equipment for all the working days (and holidays as and when required as specified in this contract conditions). The
Candidate must be specialized in LAN troubleshooting and Candidate will be responsible for LAN troubleshooting for
company.
• All repair or replacement actions shall be
completed within three (03) working days of logging of complaint. Reasons for delays, if any, shall be communicated by the Candidate in writing and such
instances shall be periodically reviewed by a contract monitoring committee.
• Candidate's service engineer shall log each
complaint in a register, with the date and time of complaint, a unique complaint number or ID, details of complaint and description of fault or
complaint.
• Complaint logged will be treated as pending
till the solution is provided or the complaint is rectified.
• Once action is initiated, Candidate shall note
the date and time of initiation in the register. In any case action shall be initiated within 24 hours of logging of complaint
• Once complaint is resolved or rectified, the
service engineer shall record the closure in the register. The endorsement of the in-charge officer shall also be taken on the closure.
• The network problems reported by the users
will be notified to the Candidate's engineer and will be attended by them based on priority indicated by company.
• On some occasions such complaints may be given
directly by company on non-working days/off duty hours or in emergency telephonically. For all such complaints given telephonically, service
engineer will have to register on the first available occasion attends to them at the earliest and obtain endorsement from
the in-charge officer.
