Digital Campaign Manager is accountable for managing the life-cycle of campaigns post-go-live. Core responsibilities for this profile include faultless execution of the strategy as agreed with the client-facing teams, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for non -performance of campaigns, ensuring all the goals agreed with the advertiser are consistently met every month, and being proactive in highlighting issues that may impact campaign performance. This profile also has competitive productivity and quality targets to be achieved on a daily and monthly basis.

A digital campaign manager will specialize in managing digital solutions like Search Engine Marketing (SEM) or Search Engine Optimization (SEO) based on their educational background, learning paths, and previous experience if any. Analyzing different data sources and building performance reports of all the running campaigns is an integral part of this profile. Whether it’s an SEM specialist or an SEO specialist, both will find creative solutions by leveraging analytical tools and training provided to effectively optimize the campaigns to meet advertiser goals. While actively collaborating with client-facing teams, the performance of a digital campaign manager will be evaluated based on metrics like quality leads, engagement, organic traffic, CTR & CPC, and budget utilization.


Role & Responsibilities :

  • Review the ads, keywords, and landing pages and check whether they are in alignment with the focus of the campaign.
  • Handle, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google AdWords, Bing, and ReachLocal internal platforms for a variety of clients.
  • Identify trends and insights to achieve CPL goal benchmarks set in paid search campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot issues impacting campaign performance and communicate with customer success manager to clarify and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Monitor and administer ReachLocal proprietary dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with client goals.
  • Ensure that the assigned campaigns are reviewed within the set timeline of 30 days and achieve the set quality benchmark.
  • Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
  • Maintaining and monitoring Larger Keywords List, Negative Keyword Mining, Bids, and Budget and; diagnose the root cause and come up with solutions to improve campaign performance.
  • Build rapport with stakeholders; Send across timely & appropriate communication to the onshore team.
  • Participate in scheduled calls with the onshore team and share minutes of the meeting promptly.
  • Implement and manage Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities.
  • Develop customized and targeted SEO solutions to maximize the effectiveness of search campaigns.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, content optimization, meta-tag creation, link development, and other SEO-related activities.
  • Proactively provide strategic recommendations applicable to clients’ business models, expectations, and goals.
  • Monitor and report on metrics such as page ranking, the effectiveness of site optimization, etc.
  • Keep up to date on the latest SEO, PPC strategies, and technologies and assist in improving solution offerings.
  • Work effectively with an extended global team.


Key Skills :

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Basic MS Word and Excel skills.
  • Proven Experience with a digital marketing background.
  • Demonstrates expertise with third-party and publisher system administration and modification.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • A good understanding of SEO methodologies and practices, plus experience implementing tactics and monitoring results.
  • Understanding of web protocols, web application architectures, and frameworks.
  • Web development experience.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and cross-browser development, and other SEO-related technologies.
  • Strong sense of ownership, drive, and urgency.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a highly demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
