Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our team in the capacity of Retail Outlet Inspection and Measurement. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, measurements, and assessments of retail outlets to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction and retail store layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Outlet Inspections:
Conduct on-site inspections of retail outlets to assess structural integrity, layout, and compliance with design plans.
Identify and document any deviations from approved designs, construction standards, or safety regulations.
Verify the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
Measurement and Documentation:
Accurately measure and record dimensions, areas, and other relevant data at retail outlets.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation of site inspections, including photographs and measurements.
Maintain accurate records of all site activities.
Communication and Reporting:
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to communicate inspection findings and suggest corrective actions.
Prepare regular progress reports and updates on site activities.
Assist in the resolution of any construction-related issues or discrepancies.
Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve any technical issues or challenges encountered during site visits.
Provide recommendations for improvements and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in site engineering, construction, or retail outlet inspection is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately measure and record data.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Basic knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment.
Willingness to travel to various retail outlet locations as needed.
