responsibilities

Perform a wide range of spa treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs, wraps, and other various spa services.

Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their spa experience.

Consult with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and any specific concerns or medical conditions to tailor treatments accordingly.

Provide detailed explanations of treatments, products, and services offered to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary equipment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.

Administer spa treatments with skill and expertise, utilizing various techniques, products, and equipment to achieve optimal results.

Maintain accurate and updated client records, including treatment notes, medical history, and any post-treatment recommendations or instructions.

Uphold a high level of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the spa, including equipment, linens, and treatment rooms.

Keep abreast of industry trends, new techniques, and products, continuously expanding knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Assist in promoting spa services, including participating in marketing initiatives, providing input on service offerings, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the spa.

Skills:

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and calming environment for clients.

Proficient in a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy.

Knowledge of various skincare treatments and products, with the ability to customize facials based on individual skin types and concerns.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in client records, treatment notes, and post-treatment recommendations.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple client appointments and maintaining a smooth workflow.

Professionalism and discretion, maintaining client confidentiality and privacy throughout treatments and interactions.

Physical stamina and dexterity, as spa therapists are required to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding treatments.

Problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt treatments to accommodate client preferences, concerns, or medical conditions.
