Sports Authority of India invites application for the position Deputy Director
Filling up of vacant post of 28 Deputy Director in Pay Matrix Level-11 (Rs.67000-208700), on deputation basis for a period of 3 years extendable to 5 years in Sports Authority of India, New Delhi - regarding.

"Eligibility criteria" on Deputation (including short term contract):-
Deputy Director (Senior Time Scale) Officers working in Cetral Government/State Governments/Union Territories(Including their attached or subordinate offices) /Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies preferably with experience of Sports/ Sports Management holding:-
i) Analogous Posts in Parent Cadre/Department. Or
ii) At least 5 years' service in the grade after appointment there-to on regular basis in Pay Matrix Level-10 (7th CPC) in the parent cadre/ department
Nature of Work:
i) Manager of the Section and assisting & reporting to the Divisional head in the spheres of Sports Administration.
ii). Management and co-ordination of the work;
iii). Maintenance of data of employees/Athletes and implement Govt. Rules/Guidelines of the SAI Sports Scheme.
iv) . To undertake inspection of the office and field to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the office and training Programme at SAI Centres.
Pay Scale : Twenty Eight (28) posts in Deputy Director (Senior Time Scale) in Pay Matrix Level - 11 (Rs.67700-208700). The number of posts is tentative and may likely to increase or decrease
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
