Sr. PHP Developer
Job Description
2+ years of experience in web development using PHP/MySQL and Open Source Technologies
- Must have worked with at least two of these frameworks/CMS: Laravel / Yii/ CodeIgniter/ Zend/ Cake PHP / Drupal/ Joomla/ Wordpress/Magento
- Knowledge of API and web-service (REST, SOAP) design, coding and implementation
- Experience with any of them is a plus: Memcache, Redis, Solr/Lucene/Elastic Search, Varnish, MongoDB or any NoSQL DB, Hadoop.
- Good understanding of object oriented principles/programming and MVC frameworks
- Must have passion for technologies and goes out of the way to keep updated with innovations in web technologies
Key goals & responsibilities
- Prepare technical design of various product modules to meet business requirements.
- Deliver quality, modular, scalable and well-designed code, as per the technical specifications.
- Design and build APIs/webservices that scale.
- Research, prototype, implement new technologies & concepts.
- Overall, you are responsible to take a requirement from scratch and deliver a quality output.
