Job Description

Wanted Staff nurse for OPD / OT at face Surgery Centre, Poisar, Kandivali west. Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates with or without OT experience can apply provided they are interested to learn.

Job Summary:

A Staff Nurse at a Face Surgery Centre is responsible for providing preoperative and postoperative patient care, assisting in surgical procedures, and ensuring a sterile environment in the Operation Theatre (OT) and Outpatient Department (OPD). The role requires expertise in patient care, surgical assistance, and infection control practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care & Preoperative Preparation (OPD & OT)

Assist in patient evaluation and preparation for surgery.
Educate patients about preoperative and postoperative care.
Record vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns.
Prepare surgical patients by administering necessary medications and sterilizing the surgical site.

2. Operation Theatre (OT) Assistance

Assist surgeons during facial surgeries, cosmetic procedures, and reconstructive surgeries.
Maintain a sterile and aseptic environment in the OT.
Handle surgical instruments, sutures, and medical equipment.
Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery and report any concerns.

3. Postoperative Care & Recovery

Monitor patients in the recovery room after surgery.
Provide wound care, dressings, and pain management.
Educate patients and families on postoperative instructions, medications, and follow-up care.

4. Equipment & Sterilization Management

Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of OT equipment and surgical instruments.
Maintain stock of surgical supplies, medications, and emergency kits.
Adhere to infection control and hospital safety protocols.

5. Emergency Response & Critical Care

Assist in handling medical emergencies, allergic reactions, or complications.
Perform CPR and emergency interventions when necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records and document surgical procedures.
