Job Description
Position Summary:
The Student Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in guiding new students through the initial stages of their educational journey. This position is responsible for managing the onboarding process from the moment a student is accepted through their first weeks of enrollment. The role involves providing personalized support, clear communication, and administrative assistance to ensure students feel welcomed, informed, and prepared to succeed. The Student Onboarding Specialist acts as a key liaison between students and the institution, ensuring a smooth and engaging transition into academic life.
Connect with leads via phone, WhatsApp, email, and other platforms to assess interest and qualification
Understand student preferences (destination country, course, intake, budget, exams, etc.)
Ask qualifying questions based on standard criteria and document responses in CRM
Categorize leads as hot, warm, or cold and schedule follow-ups accordingly
Coordinate with the counseling team to assign qualified leads
Maintain and update CRM with accurate lead information and call outcomes
Share daily reports on lead status and conversions to the reporting manager
Collaborate with marketing and lead generation teams for feedback on lead quality
Provide insights to improve targeting and campaign efficiency
