Supplier Interaction Specialist
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
· Vendor Development – Foreign supplier interaction, correspondence with suppliers on material description, technical specifications, OEM Certificates and Authorization. COC and MSDS.
· Product selection, data sheet collections, terms and conditions of supply, price negotiations.
· Ability to browse more than 100 suppliers matching relevant product requirements.
· Understanding tenders and specifications, browsing relevant products, getting compliance from suppliers.
· Follow-up on quotes from various suppliers, clarifications on quote received and placing orders to suppliers, lead time monitoring and vendor payments.
· Pre-sales sample arrangement from supplier.
· Maintaining vendor details on CRM and updating on regular basis
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Sound time-management and organizational skills
Qualifications:
· Qualification : BE – electronics & Communication, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, chemical
· Degree/ BSC physics /maths/chemistry
· Proven 2 years of experience in sourcing processes.
· Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, and outlook, google search.
· A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
