Job Description

Supply Chain Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock and coordinating reorder points.
Process purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to confirm order details and resolve issues.
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and minimize costs.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other supply chain activities.
Support the development and implementation of supply chain procedures to streamline operations.
Assist in quality control checks for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain effectiveness.
Participate in vendor negotiations and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Help manage logistics, including warehousing and transportation, to ensure seamless distribution.

Supply Chain Associate Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory management, procurement, and distribution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with supply chain software is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve supply chain efficiency.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
Knowledge of logistics and transportation regulations is a plus.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
