Job Description

Position Title: Tally Executive

Department: Tally Executive

Reports To: Head of Operations

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry and Maintenance:

- Inputting financial transactions into Tally ERP accurately and promptly.

- Ensuring all entries are coded correctly and comply with company policies.

2. Invoice Generation:

- Generating invoices and maintaining a systematic record of invoices issued.

3. Bank Reconciliation:

- Reconciling bank statements with Tally ERP records on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.

4. Accounts Receivable/Payable:

- Monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable.

- Issuing payment reminders and following up on overdue accounts.

5. Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.

- Maintaining proper documentation and filing systems related to financial transactions.

6. Support to Finance Team:

- Collaborating with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency.

- Assisting in ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Tally Assistant preferably in a finance or accounting environment.

- Proficiency in Tally ERP software and MS Office (especially Excel).

- Strong numerical and data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

- Tally ERP certification or equivalent is a plus.
