Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Passenger Transport:

Pick up passengers at requested locations and drop them at their destination safely and on time.

Confirm destinations with passengers and choose the most efficient routes using maps or GPS apps.

Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, if needed.

Customer Service:

Greet passengers politely and maintain a friendly attitude throughout the journey.

Answer basic questions or provide information about local places, routes, or landmarks.

Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, or report them to the relevant authority.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all traffic laws, signals, and local transport regulations.

Ensure the safety of passengers by practicing responsible and defensive driving.

Always wear a seatbelt and encourage passengers to do the same.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct routine checks of the taxi (tires, brakes, fuel, lights) before starting the shift.

Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean and well-maintained.

Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs to the appropriate department or garage.

Fare Handling and Record Keeping:

Use meters or ride apps to calculate fares accurately.

Collect payments in cash or through digital methods, and provide change or receipts when needed.

Maintain a log of daily trips, fuel usage, and earnings (if required by the company or local authority).

Navigation and Technology Use:

Use GPS or ride-hailing apps (e.g., Uber, Lyft, Ola) to accept ride requests and navigate routes.

Stay updated on traffic conditions, road closures, and alternate routes to avoid delays.
