Job Description
Learn Monks is an innovative and fast-growing education platform dedicated to providing personalized and stress-free learning experiences for students in Grades 9-12 under the CBSE and TN State Board curriculum. We are currently hiring teacher for remote positions (Chennai-based) as all classes are currently conducted online, with offline opportunities coming soon. We are expanding our team and looking for passionate teacher in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, who are committed to delivering quality education with a focus on student well-being.
Subjects we are hiring for:
Grades 9 & 10:
- Maths
- Science
- English
- Social Studies
Grades 11 & 12 (Science Stream):
- Maths
- Physics
- Chemistry
Grades 11 & 12 (Commerce Stream):
- Accountancy
- Economics
- Business Maths
- Commerce
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, personalized online lessons for students in Chennai (offline classes will be available soon).
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
- Offer support and guidance for exam preparation.
- Regularly provide feedback to students and parents, ensuring clear communication about progress.
- Participate in developing a supportive learning environment, focusing on both academic success and emotional well-being.
Qualifications:
- A degree in the relevant subject(s) (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Com., etc.).
- Prior experience teaching CBSE or TN State Board curricula is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Tamil.
- Candidates must be based in or around Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms is a plus.
