Role: Technical Writer

Job brief

We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will join a team of talented tech writers who work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use.

Responsibilities

Write customer-facing, developer-friendly online content, user guides, system operations guides, API specifications and reference material for Techbridge products & solutions.

Establish and support content related quality gates in the product development lifecycle.

Engage closely with product engineering teams to prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents.

Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product and project functionalities.

Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users.

Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.

Maintain a library of documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.

Produce high-quality documents with a consistent 'look and feel' by strictly adhering to the standard templates and style guide.

Develop SME-level competence in the assigned products and put a conscious endeavor towards ability to demonstrate the product/solution.

Stay up-to-date with the latest software development technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements and skills

Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation

Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail

Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures

Excellent written skills in English

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development

Educational qualifications:

Graduate/ Postgraduate with technical knowledge base, BCA/ MCA/ BTech / BSC/ MSc Computers Science

Graduation In English with Diploma In computer science

Employment Type: Permanent (regular/periodic performance review is done)
