A Telecaller Cum Computer Operator is a dual-role position that combines the responsibilities of a telecaller with the technical and administrative duties of a computer operator. This role requires an individual to perform both customer interaction via phone calls and manage data entry, processing, and other administrative tasks on the computer. The individual in this position is expected to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in computer operations such as data management, document handling, and operating various office software.

Telecaller Cum Computer Operators typically work in customer service, sales, or support roles across a variety of industries such as retail, finance, healthcare, education, and telecommunications. Their tasks focus on handling inbound and outbound calls while also ensuring accurate data entry and processing to support business operations. The role requires multitasking, the ability to manage customer inquiries, and proficiency in computer applications like MS Office, databases, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Telecalling Duties

    • Customer Interaction: Make inbound and outbound calls to customers, providing information about products, services, or promotions. Ensure that all customer queries are addressed politely and professionally.

    • Sales and Marketing Support: Conduct telemarketing and sales calls, explaining products and services to potential customers and encouraging them to make purchases or sign up for services. Meet daily or weekly targets for sales, leads, or conversions.

    • Follow-up Calls: Follow up with customers regarding queries, service requests, or any unresolved issues. Keep track of customer concerns and provide timely resolutions.

    • Survey and Feedback Collection: Conduct surveys, collect feedback, and gather customer opinions regarding services or products. Ensure that all customer information and feedback are accurately recorded for future analysis.

  2. Computer Operations and Data Entry

    • Data Entry: Accurately input customer data, service requests, and sales details into the company’s database, ensuring that all records are up to date and properly organized.

    • Database Management: Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring the information is correctly entered and easy to retrieve. Handle corrections and updates as needed.

    • Report Generation: Use computer systems to generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports on customer interactions, sales, or performance metrics. Analyze the data and provide feedback on performance trends.

    • Documentation: Handle and process documents related to customer inquiries, sales, and services. Ensure all paperwork is filed correctly and is easily accessible when needed.

    • Email Management: Respond to customer inquiries or follow up on leads via email, providing accurate information and ensuring a high level of customer service.

  3. Customer Support and Problem Resolution

    • Resolve Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns by listening actively, offering solutions, and escalating issues to higher management when necessary. Ensure customers feel valued and satisfied with the resolution.

    • Provide Information: Offer clear and concise information on product details, services, promotions, and policies through phone or email, ensuring customers receive accurate responses.

    • Support for Documentation: Assist customers in filling out forms, completing applications, or submitting requests online. Ensure that all required information is provided and processed correctly.

  4. Multitasking and Efficiency

    • Simultaneous Task Handling: Balance telecalling duties with computer-based tasks, ensuring that while engaging with customers over the phone, relevant data is entered or updated on the computer in real time.

    • Time Management: Ensure that calls are managed efficiently, and data entry tasks are completed within specified deadlines. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.

  5. Team Coordination and Collaboration

    • Team Support: Collaborate with team members to share information and resolve customer queries. Provide assistance to colleagues when needed and contribute to team goals and objectives.

    • Feedback and Reporting: Provide feedback to team leaders or managers about recurring customer issues, performance issues, or operational improvements. Report any challenges faced in the telecalling or computer operations to higher management.
