Job Overview:
A Telecaller plays a crucial role in an organization by directly communicating with potential and existing customers through telephone calls. The primary responsibility is to promote products or services, generate sales leads, and provide information to customers about company offerings. A telecaller must have excellent communication skills, a persuasive approach, and a customer-focused mindset to build strong relationships with clients.
This job is ideal for individuals who are confident, self-motivated, and have a knack for convincing people. It requires patience, resilience, and the ability to handle objections professionally. Telecallers can work in various industries, including banking, insurance, education, healthcare, and e-commerce, making it a versatile and in-demand career.
- Handle customer's calls. , telling them about products/offers/services
- Follow communication “scripts”
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information
- Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
- Keep records of all conversations in our database in a comprehensible way
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
Minimum Requirement:
- Good Communication Skills in Tamil
- High energy level
Key Responsibilities:
Making Outbound Calls:
- Contacting potential customers from a given database or generated leads.
- Explaining the company's products or services and highlighting their benefits.
- Persuading customers to buy products, book appointments, or subscribe to services.
Handling Inbound Calls:
- Answering customer queries regarding products, services, or policies.
- Providing detailed and accurate information.
- Resolving customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
Lead Generation & Follow-ups:
- Identifying interested customers and generating sales leads.
- Following up with potential customers to encourage conversions.
- Scheduling meetings or product demonstrations for sales teams if required.
Maintaining Customer Records:
- Updating databases with new customer details and feedback.
- Keeping track of follow-up schedules and maintaining call logs.
Meeting Targets:
- Achieving daily, weekly, or monthly sales and call targets.
- Maintaining a high conversion rate by improving persuasive skills.
Adhering to Company Policies:
- Following a structured script or sales pitch provided by the company.
- Complying with call guidelines and quality assurance standards.
