We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand our client base in both the international and local markets.
Job Overview: As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a designated region, ensuring strong relationships with key clients, and driving business growth through field visits, events, seminars, and meet-and-greet sessions. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and the initiative to create and implement strategies that enhance market presence and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Visits:
- Conduct regular field visits to maintain relationships with clients, partners, and distributors.
- Gather market insights and identify potential business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Ensure that sales goals are met or exceeded by identifying and engaging with new prospects.
- Event Management:
- Plan, organize, and execute local events, product launches, and promotional campaigns to build brand awareness and engage with the community.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure effective promotion and execution of events.
- Meet-and-Greet Sessions:
- Organize meet-and-greet sessions with customers, clients, and industry stakeholders to build rapport and gather feedback.
- Act as the primary contact for customer engagement initiatives, ensuring that all interactions are positive and beneficial.
- Seminar & Workshop Organization:
- Plan and coordinate seminars, workshops, and training sessions in the territory to educate clients, prospects, and stakeholders about products, services, and industry trends.
- Liaise with subject matter experts, guest speakers, and vendors to ensure successful events.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the point of contact for resolving client issues, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Feedback:
- Provide regular updates and reports on territory performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to communicate customer needs and feedback to improve products and services.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in territory management, sales, event planning, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
