Determine the product development objectives by finalizing the quality test parameters

Make certain all the parts that need to be tested or debugged are accessible and programmable

Approve if the current testing equipment and tools are adequate to make the performance tests

Review the schematics to ensure that the electrical circuits are accessible and testable

Ensure compliance with the legal standards set for an electronic product in terms of efficiency and safety

Conduct tests on the electronic systems, circuits and products, following the guidelines set by the client

Devise the testing methodology to perform desired tests as suitable to the product's designs and features

Design computer software and hardware tools to simplify the testing procedures and gather quicker results

Apply the theories and principles in electronics during product testing to ensure accurate results

Provide vital information to staff members and end users regarding product functionality and quality

Analyze the product and suggest modifications in product design or functionality as per the test results

Judge the feasibility of the product by analyzing the requisites, cost, capacity and customer requirements

Coordinate with the engineers, customers and project leads to determine the current and future potential of the project
