Theatre Artists job Position in National School of Drama
National School of Drama invites applications on plain paper
from Theatre Artists to fill up
vacant posts of Artists Grade A, B & Casual Artist on contract basis in the
Repertory Company, Sikkim as per the details given below:
Name of Post : NSD, Sikkim, Repertory Company Artist
No. of Posts : 4 (Grade A), 16 (Grade B) & 5 (Casual as
per requirement)
Qualifications : a. 12th passed from Centre Board of Secondary
Education or other recognized Board. However preference will be given to
Graduation from any reorganized university. b. Must hold Certificate of One
Year Residential Certificate Course in Dramatic Arts from Sikkim Theatre
Training Centre or from other theatre training institute. c. Experience of
participating in 10 important production in Hindi or any other Indian Language
performing major roles. d. Proficiency in Hindi language or any other north
eastern regional language
Desirable : a.
Knowledge of dance, music and allied art. b. b. Experience in direction of the
play and or stage craft. c. c. Knowledge of one or two regional
language/dialects. d. d. Knowledge of acting theories and styles. e. Note: The
above Qualifications/Experience at the discretion of the competent authority,
may be relax in favor of candidate otherwise form suitable

years Grade ‘A’, 3 years Grade ‘B’ and 2 Years Casual Artist.
Salary : Rs.18,000/-
per month, likely to be revised as per grade of Artist.
