Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Travel Consultant, your primary role will be to assist clients with planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, tours, and travel insurance. You will use your knowledge of destinations, trends, and suppliers to create memorable and seamless travel experiences for both leisure and corporate clients.
This role is perfect for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for travel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Travel Planning & Booking:

Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.

Suggest suitable destinations, itineraries, travel packages, or activities.

Make bookings for flights, accommodation, car rentals, cruises, and tour packages through GDS, travel portals, or direct supplier connections.
2. Sales & Customer Service:
-
Upsell travel services such as travel insurance, visa assistance, local guides, or customized packages.

Handle inquiries from walk-in clients, calls, emails, or social media platforms.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships through excellent service.
3. Documentation & Support:

Assist clients with visa application support and provide information on travel regulations and documentation.

Issue tickets, vouchers, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain updated knowledge on travel restrictions, COVID-19 guidelines, and country-specific entry rules.
4. Vendor & Supplier Coordination:

Liaise with hotels, airlines, tour operators, and transport companies for availability, pricing, and special requests.

Negotiate group rates or exclusive deals when required.

Resolve booking errors, cancellations, and last-minute issues promptly.
5. Reporting & Administration:
-
Maintain client records, booking details, and financial transactions in the CRM or booking software.

Generate sales and booking reports for internal use.

Meet individual and team sales targets regularly.
