About MPK I - GATE PRIVATE LIMITED
MPK I GATE is an innovation-oriented company that has B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms that works in the sphere of small and medium entrepreneurs. Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman, launched our first platform DICCI SME portal on 13th February 2015 and said that the Government would make this valuable tool connect with the Government agencies to bring about effective implementation of the policies and inclusive growth.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Developing new functionalities for our existing web sites (PHP, Opencart, Magento, WordPress)
2. Improving code and removing errors for our existing web sites
3. Coordinating with developers and ensuring that development is going as planned
4. Making development and other documents, and reviewing sites
5. Reviewing sites for errors and documenting the same
6. Looking into our server infra and conducting basic maintenance
5. Researching functionalities and trends of latest sites (for example in PHP - Laravel framework or API functionality, etc.)
6. Finding suitable developers and other resource person to handle different development requirements, if need be
7. Handling basic designing for UI/UX and for any task requiring design work
8. Finding license free technologies which are available to use and their integration
9. Coordinating with management and other team members for the tasks above
10. Handling any other related tasks
