Job Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor online platforms such as social media, websites, streaming & messaging applications, and chat forums for instances of digital piracy, including unauthorized video clips and live streams, related to diverse sporting events.
- Employ effective search techniques to locate copyrighted material.
- Assist in drafting takedown notices and copyright removal forms addressed to platforms, service providers and individuals operating websites engaged in piracy, ensuring compliance as per DMCA.
- Collaborate and assist compliance teams to address copyright infringements and enforce intellectual property rights. Assist in planning, organizing and directing the enforcement activities involved.
- Compile & deliver periodic reports to clients.
- Extract information from WHOIS records about domain ownership, registrant email-ID, domain registrar, IP address and host providers.
- Experience in brand protection or managing content platforms in the media and/or digital space is a plus.
- Stay updated on piracy trends and technological advancements affecting online copyrighted content piracy mitigation strategies.
- Willing to work in monthly rotational shifts, including night shifts. Can prefer working remotely at night (after probation period) provided candidates have adequate internet bandwidth and a sound laptop/system.
- Willing to work on weekends with flexible weekly offs.
- Flexible and open to changing priorities, as well as handling multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.
