Key Responsibilities:
- Website Design: Create visually appealing and responsive website designs that align with client branding and user experience best practices.
- Web Development: Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, or custom solutions.
- Responsive Design: Ensure websites are fully responsive and optimized for all devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and content creators to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- SEO Best Practices: Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and performance.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure functionality, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Updates & Maintenance: Provide ongoing website updates, maintenance, and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in website design and development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
- Strong understanding of responsive design and web accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- A portfolio showcasing previous web design and development projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch).
- Knowledge of PHP or other programming languages.
