Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented WordPress Developer who is eager to launch their career in web development and SEO. This role is ideal for freshers, students, or candidates with 0-1 years of experience. You will work on creating and maintaining dynamic WordPress websites while learning and applying SEO best practices to enhance our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
WordPress Development:
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Help troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing WordPress websites.
Collaborate with design and content teams to implement user-friendly web interfaces.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
SEO Implementation:
Conduct basic keyword research and competitor analysis.
Optimize website content, meta tags, images, and structure for improved search engine ranking.
Assist with on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Technical Proficiency:
Basic knowledge of WordPress development including familiarity with custom themes and plugins.
Foundational understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Exposure to WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) is a plus.
SEO Interest:
Interest in learning and applying SEO strategies.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console is desirable.
Experience:
0-1 years of experience, making this role perfect for freshers and students.
A portfolio or examples of personal or academic projects related to web development/SEO is advantageous but not mandatory.
