Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Preparation:

Patient Communication: Explain the procedure to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have before the X-ray.

Patient Positioning: Position patients correctly to ensure high-quality images while making them comfortable.

Safety Precautions: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including providing lead aprons and shielding to patients when necessary.
2. Image Acquisition:

Operates Equipment: Set up and operate X-ray machines and related equipment, ensuring correct settings for each imaging procedure.

Technical Expertise: Select proper imaging parameters, such as exposure levels and positioning, to obtain clear and accurate diagnostic images.

Image Quality: Ensure that the images produced meet quality standards and are free from artifacts or errors.
3. Collaboration with Medical Staff:

Work with Physicians: Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to discuss imaging needs, and take additional X-rays if necessary.

Assist with Procedures: Help in specialized imaging procedures like fluoroscopy or contrast imaging when required by the medical team.
